Water Chapel
The Southern part of Kuřim is formed by a large wooded hill called Kuřim Hill (435 m). At its foot you will find a water chapel devoted to St. Jan Nepomuk. The chronicle of the local parsonage states that it was built in 1722. It is a semicircle masonry structure with a statue of St. Jan Nepomuk situated in the upper niche. The statue of the saint is approximately 1.5 meters tall and he holds a cross of Jesus Christ. Water flows into the Chapel in pinewood pipes from the rocks of Kuřim Hill and at the moment it is not potable.
