Jaroš's Mill
Jaroš's Mill in Veverská Bítýška is a milling museum. Tours of the mill and machinery from the first half of the 20th century are organized here. Visitors will learn about manufacturing of different kinds of flour and other products.
Tours are guided by the owner of the mill - a very nice man who has a great amount of knowledge of his profession. You will see areas where visitors are usually not allowed when a mill is normally in operation. You will learn how different kinds of flour are produced, how unwanted components are removed and how people used to live in the mill. This watermill with all manufacturing equipment made of wood was listed as a cultural landmark by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
To get to Jaroš's mill, take the blue marked trail either from the center of Veverská Bítýška or from Šmelcovna (the valley of “Bílý potok”). There is a car park right in front of the building.
